Our People

The Foundation Board

Vicky is a former Westminster School parent of three sons and one daughter-in-law: Tripp (DD 2007), Christopher (DD 2008), Bryce (DD 2012), and Ice Min (PP 2008).  Over ten years at Westminster, she was an active member of the Westminster School Parenting Forum under Head Masters Tristram Jones-Parry and Stephen Spurr.

Professionally, Vicky has held CEO and Managing Director positions across an array of Omnicom and WPP agencies in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East with specialisms in innovation, branding, design, and architecture. She began her career in product management with Procter & Gamble and Kraft/General Foods.

Amongst her various volunteer endeavours, Vicky has been a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International for over 40 years, and is a Past President of the Junior League of London. She joined the Westminster School US Foundation Board in 2024.

Vicky and her husband primarily split their time between London and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

David Brigstocke is a former CFO of Asset Management at JPMorgan Chase, a position he held for 11 years. He was educated at Westminster School, London and Hotchkiss School, Connecticut, USA. He earned degrees in Mathematics from Magdalene College, Cambridge, and Management Science from Imperial College, London, before starting his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.

After qualifying there he joined JPMorgan and spent 37 years with the bank in various roles in capital markets, banking, private equity, asset management and strategy, in London and New York. In addition to the Westminster School Foundation, David sits on various boards, including Washington International School in D.C. and the Magdalene College Foundation in the US. He and his wife Nancy have three grown daughters and live in London and New York.

Ali has worked in private equity and finance for the last 25+ years. He is currently the Managing Partner of Trimountain Partners, a private equity firm he co-founded in 2017. Previously, Ali was Co-Head of the European Lead Investments Team, a Partner and an Investment Committee Member at Quilvest Private Equity, the private equity arm of Quilvest, a leading private equity investor and asset manager where he worked for close to ten years, having joined the firm in 2007 as a founding member of Quilvest’s London office. Prior to Quilvest, Ali worked for several years in New York at American Capital, a mid-market private equity firm, and before that spent five years in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York, where he started his career.

As well as being a Trustee for the Westminster School US Foundation, Ali is currently a director and active board member of various Trimountain portfolio companies including ABCA Systems, RED and Horizon Parking. He is Chairman and a member of the UK Regional Chapter of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), and serves as a director on YPO’s European Regional Board. He also serves on the Dean’s Global Advisory Board at the Harvard Divinity School, and previously served for many years as a Trustee/Director of the Harvard Club of the United Kingdom and the Exhibition Road Cultural Group (Discover South Kensington).

Ali holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics with Honours from Harvard University. He lives in London with his wife and two sons, and is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Urdu.

Now with over two decades of experience in the world of Innovation – making things better, making better things – Marcus leads the delta Innovation & Transformation organization in Google Cloud. A global team that brings the best of Google’s product development to the top customers, at the forefront of the AI conversation.

Prior to this, he built a successful innovation firm, called Fahrenheit 212, which he and his partners sold to Capgemini in 2016. He has built numerous innovation products and services, to help problem-solve for the C-Suite of large businesses. Some highlights include the Coca Freestyle machine, Samsung Frame TV & Smart TV, rethinking the claims process for USAA, reimagining the business model for HP Print, repositioning the stores of DSG, Dunkin & Best Buy, and the successful 2026 World Cup Bid. 

Marcus studied Experimental Psychology at Oxford, was in Dryden’s at Westminster School, graduating in 1995, and at the Under School before that. Marcus lives in NYC and occasionally Upstate NY with his wife, two kids and a large dog.

James Sinclair was co-founder and executive chairman of MarketFactory. Former member of the FRBNY FXC, the Foreign Exchange Committee sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. As a member of the BIS Market Participants Group he co-chaired the Examples Working Group that formulated the examples for the FX Global Code of Conduct.

He is a keen supporter of Yamba Malawi, empowering communities to break the cycle of poverty in one of the word’s poorest countries.

Alexis E. Vassilakas is head of Non-Financial Risk in the Engineering Division at Goldman Sachs, responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s comprehensive risk management framework for the division. Previously, he was global head of Technology, Resiliency, and Third Party Operational Risk in the second line, providing oversight for the cyber, information security, technology, resiliency, and vendor domains. Alexis is a member of the Firmwide Technology Risk Committee, Firmwide Compliance and Operational Risk Committee, Financial Crime Compliance Committee, and the Firmwide Artificial Intelligence Risk and Controls Committee. Alexis joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 as an associate in Equities Technology and was named managing director in 2015.

Alexis serves on the board of the FosterClub Foundation, the national network for youth in foster care. Alexis lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife and son.

Sam is a Principal within Investor Strategy & Solutions based in New York at Ares Management with a focus on providing quantitative solutions for investors. Prior to Ares Management, Sam was a Director within the Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions Group where he focused on Global Tactical Asset Allocation portfolios trading systematic and discretionary strategies. Sam has held other portfolio manager and research roles at BlackRock’s Global Commodities team, Omega Capital and RBS Global Banking & Markets. 

Sam lives in New York with his family.
